Who We Are
Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh, India) was established in 1942 and officially registered as the Swami Shukdevanand Trust after the Founder of Parmarth Niketan, Pujya MM Swami Shukdevanand Saraswatiji, in 1962 as a Charitable Trust registered under the Indian Trust Act, with 12A and 80G.
Founded by visionaries with deep spiritual commitment and social responsibility, our mission is rooted in seva (selfless service), compassion, and inclusivity.
Our Vision
To create an inclusive and accessible India where every individual, regardless of physical limitations, has the opportunity to lead a dignified and independent life. We envision Uttarakhand as the pilot state for this transformative mission by 2024, and aim to expand our impact nationwide through strategic partnerships and community-driven outreach.
Our Mission
To empower the differently-abled across India by organizing free health and mobility aid camps, especially in remote and underprivileged regions. Our mission is to provide artificial limbs, calipers, prosthetics, and mobility aids free of cost, ensuring dignity, mobility, and independence for every beneficiary.
What We Do
🧿 Eye Camps
Free vision check-ups and cataract surgeries for the needy in rural and semi-urban areas.
🩺 Body Check-ups
Health screenings including BP, Sugar, ECG, and more – completely free of charge.
🙏 Spiritual Workshops
Organizing bhajan, kirtan, and meditation sessions to help build inner peace.
🧘 Yoga Sessions
Conducting yoga camps for healing, flexibility, and spiritual growth.
